Free Entry Point Audit – How to Seal Up Your Home for Good

Our Free Entry Point Audit gives you clear, practical answers to one simple question: How are pests getting into my home—and how do I stop it for good? This audit focuses on exclusion, prevention, and long-term solutions, using short, easy-to-understand videos tailored to the specific pest issue you’re dealing with.

What This Is?

We have created expert videos below, showing the most common entry points for your pest category and explaining exactly what should be sealed, treated, or addressed to prevent future problems.

Why We Offer This?

Most pest problems repeat because entry points are never addressed. This audit shows you where pests enter and what actually works to stop them—whether you do it yourself or hire us to handle it.

Critter Control - Rodents and Wildlife

This video walks you through how to identify rodent entry points and stop rodents from getting into your home for good, starting at the foundation and working your way up. Mice can squeeze through openings as small as a dime-sized hole, while larger rodents and wildlife require progressively bigger gaps—up to 6 inches wide, which is enough for animals like raccoons, opossums, skunks, and groundhogs. We focus on sealing the exterior of the home, since interior sealing is difficult and ineffective. If you have a crawl space foundation, begin with vents and pipe penetrations, then check transition areas like brick-to-siding, block-to-siding, and other joint lines. From there, inspect doors, windows, garage doors, and porch connections, and finish at rooflines—around dormers, eaves, and gables—where larger wildlife often gain access.

TermiteShield

This video explains how TermiteShield protection focuses on identifying termite entry points and the conditions that attract colonies in the first place. We look for common risk factors like wood-to-soil contact, excessive mulch or wood debris near the foundation, high moisture levels in crawl spaces or around the home, and exterior siding installed at or below soil grade—all of which make termite entry easier. While these issues increase risk, the reality is that subterranean termites can enter a home almost anywhere, building mud shelter tubes straight from the soil to the structure. That’s why true termite protection isn’t just about sealing—it’s about comprehensive prevention and professional treatment strategies.

General Pest Control

This video explains how general household pests—like ants, spiders, wasps, stink bugs, and carpenter bees—get into your home in the first place. We show the most common entry points, including tiny gaps at the foundation, cracks where siding meets brick or block, openings around doors, windows, and utility lines, and protected areas like porches and rooflines where insects nest or sneak inside. Understanding these entry points helps you focus on sealing, maintenance, and prevention so bugs don’t just get treated—they stay out.

Our Three Pest Categories

We break pest problems into three simple categories to help you find the right video fast. General Pest Control covers common household bugs like ants, spiders, wasps, centipedes, earwigs, stink bugs, carpenter bees, carpenter ants, millipedes, boxelder bugs, and beetles. Critter Control focuses on rodents and wildlife such as mice, rats, moles, voles, squirrels (including flying squirrels), raccoons, opossums, skunks, and groundhogs. TermiteShield is dedicated exclusively to subterranean termites, the only termite species found in our area—just select the category that matches your issue to get targeted, step-by-step guidance.
